We've been trying to get Aya to make her delicious cakes, cookies and slices for us but she's over at ESS now. See her blog below. We have no idea why she would prefer the high quality fabrics, interesting shapes and overall very beautiful clothes of ESS to slaving away in the kitchen... Geez we miss those brownie cheesecakes, date & oat slice & pumpkin muffins.... but... ahhh.. just think of yourself why-don't-ya!!!

Panzanella with Poached Eggs and Smoked Paprika Sausages.... You don't have to be hungover to appreciate this breakfast meal, though if you happened to be slightly rough round the edges tomorrow morning, this should help you out.
The Panzanella is an Italian bread salad, soaked overnight in olive oil, tomatoes, salt, pepper & fresh herbs, add 2 poached eggs and sausages, smoked and paprika'd by our chef... so good.

Confit Tomatoes - Olive Oil, red Chilli, Garlic, Juniper Berries, Fresh Bay Leaves, Coriander Seeds &

..and here it is on the menu

Our Dead Man Espresso Blend has been selling really well, that's why we ran out of it on the weekend. It's back on today along with our Single Origin for the week, Rwandan Buremera Cup of Excellence #3. We cupped the Dead Man, Rwandan and Seven Seeds today. Geez you could pick the Dead Man a mile away. We're looking forward tomorrow to banging the Rwanda thru the Pour Over. The aroma came up sweet & a little nutty, Angus was getting stonefruits in the fragrance and overall it had a nice body with a silky mouthfeel... and was that 'bergamot' we could taste
The Dead Man Espresso Blend was banging out some rockmelony-strawberry aromas with watermelon and sugarcane sweetness.... and was that a hint of... 'bergamot'.

Nashy; Hmmmm... Is that bergamot?
